More ways to include cheese
Is making a gratin the only way to include cheese in your pasta dishes? Absolutely not! Add cubes of feta to a cold pasta and grilled vegetable salad. For warm pasta, add bocconcini pearls just before serving for a rich consistency and exquisite taste, or some parmesan shavings to enhance pasta served with a rose sauce.
Inspired breakfasts
By the spoonful, combined with fresh fruit or spread on a whole grain bagel, these are just some of the ways to savour cottage cheese. On a waffle or pancake, ricotta with fresh raspberries is sure to please. If you prefer something salty in the morning, scrambled eggs with salsa wrapped in a tortilla and covered with Monterey Jack cheese makes a great treat.
A winning combination
For a nutritious and refreshing snack, milk products and frozen fruit are a great combination. In a blender, pour 125 ml (1/2 cup) of milk with the same quantity of vanilla yogurt. Add 250 ml (1 cup) of your choice of frozen fruit: mangoes, bananas, strawberries... Mix and voilà!
Warm milk
Who said that only a drop of milk should be added to your tea or coffee? Rather, make it the main ingredient in your hot drinks! Half espresso and half warm milk make a nutritious cafe latte. Adding grated dark chocolate or crushed peppermint candy to a cup of hot chocolate make this comforting classic even tastier.
