I use my hour on the treadmill to read cookbooks and flag good, healthy recipes to try later. It keeps me occupied and helps me to stay organized!

getting a dog has forced me to go outside and walk two times everyday. I like to change up the route we take, vary the distance and find cool spots like dog parks that will keep us both out and about! plus, there's research that pet owners are happier and live longer. me dog is so entertaining and makes me laugh all the time- there's nothing like a dog to beat the blues and keep you active!

When I was younger I never ate breakfast and eventually the weight crept up on me, what with having children and not taking care of myself. Once my children were old enough I started taking care of myself and that meant eating breakfast every day. What do you know, slowly with other changes and eating a healthy breakfast every day, my weight started to come off. I lost 30 + lbs and I truly contribute a lot of it to eating breakfast so I was not hungry mid way through the morning.

Always prepare your breakfast the night before so you can make sure you're not too tired or not be rushed in the morning. This will keep you going until lunch and prevent snacking on junk throughout the day.
