My trick to a healthy weight is first of all to exercise every day and three times a week I swim for an hour with three of my friends and we always have a few laughs which I believe is good for your health and your weight. Then in the summer time I walk as often as I can and year round I work out in the exercise room. Also I believe in eating healthy and that does not include a diet, they do not work for the long term.

Don't eat if you're not hungry! It's as simple as that. It's a tendency we've developed to eat when we're bored. However, since we're not satisfying our hunger, these end up being empty calories. We end up feeling worse in the longrun and are most likely still bored. Don't let yourself be tricked! Think before you eat.

I try to go for a run at least 5 days/week. I make it fun by listening to my MP3, buying nice running clothes for all weather and joining other people. I change my running route often for variation as well. I really make it more of a fun activity and not a chore and I think this gets positive results!

Get a dog!! We adopted a puppy in November and I've had great motivation to go for a walk everyday ever since.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I set out the dry cereal and glass the night before - cuts back on the time I need to spend getting out the door (every second counts!). A great start to my day involves a glass of OJ, 1/2 cup cereal with milk and one peanut butter toast on alpine bread. Now I'm ready for whatever the day delivers!

Force yourself to have a healthy breakfast, and it's less likely you will eat unhealthy foods later in the day.

Rather than 3 big meals, eat 4-6 smaller meals and snacks, so you never feel starved!

Have breakfast: it's a priority!

I have never been a breakfast eater for some reason the idea of eating first thing in the morning is a big turn off. So instead I have started having a protein shake with 1% milk and frozen fuit, I find the frozen fuit makes it thicker more like a shake and tastes great.
