Do not drink sugary drinks like pop that have no nutritional value and do more harm than good. Choose water whenever possible during the day, and pure juice, and milk are also good choices.

Limit wine consumption. Have a spritzer instead of a glass of wine. Then you can have 2 glasses instead of l to consume the same amount of alcohol.

It is amazing how much weight I lost by cutting down my soda pop habit down to only one can of soda per week. The rest of the time I drink water or the occasional juice (juice has sugar in it as well so read the labels of the sugar percentage). I also feel healthier staying away from any artificial sweeteners especially in soft drinks. We find that a glass of milk slowly consumed once we return home from our active daytime jobs etc helps relax us, fills that afterschool hunger

I have found that when I increase my fluids I feel better and I lose weight. I especially like making healthy shakes in the blender with lots of berries and I love green tea. A bonus is that my skin feels much softer!
