Whenever I crave a treat or a dessert, I always try to make it a healthy one. That way I won’t get hungry soon after. I either make myself a milk or rice pudding, or have some custard or plain yogurt and sprinkle on a few berries.

I’ve always tried to lose weight because I thought I was too big until the day I consulted a dietitian. She told me that depriving myself like I was could result in even more weight gain! Now, I eat well and don’t try any fad diets…they just don’t work!

Fad diets are very bad for you because they never work, it is best to eat a variety of foods but watch our portion.We will be much healthier eating a variety. Also we do not need a whole desert, espically when dining out, share one, or just have a bit to satisfy your sweettooth.

I followed a very restrictive diet in the past. I didn’t believe those who said I’d gain the weight right back because my metabolism would go into survival mode. Well, I lost 10 pounds, but I gained 15 two weeks later! Now, I eat healthy and exercise…and I maintain my weight!

I would NEVER try a fad diet again. I have tried some in the past, but they do not work. The trick to being healthy is not a trick at all. It's simple: eat a well-balanced diet, in moderation; drink plenty of water; do some exercise; maintain spiritual health. These are the way to a healthy life.

I am nearing the end of my first pregnancy and have already been investigating ways to take off the weight that I've gained throughout the last 9 months. I just got sucked into one of those fad diets - was all excited cause I heard all these people talking about it...spent the money (which wasn't a small amount either) and guess what...it didn't work - I followed directions exactly! I have discovered that if you watch what you eat, drink your milk and live an active lifestyle - not only are you happier, but the weight loss will come! Better yet it will not be Yo-Yo weight loss!
