"Approach wellness with joy in your heart and you will succeed with your goal." When I worked as a personal trainer, many people who came to me looked upon exercise and diet as a punishment, or a goal to achieve with dogged determination. Eventually the negativity of daunting goals would make people falter and "cheat." Before eating something unhealthy, or forgo exercise because you're busy or tired, ask yourself "how will this make me happy and what positive outcome will this have.

Increasing daily soluble oat fibre is easily done choosing oatmeal packets (a number of flavors are available) for breakfast or a snack however they sometimes contain more sugar than I want to eat so rather than paying more for the calorie reduced I simply empty the packet into a small strainer which gets rid of most of the added sugar, then simply prepare as usual. Adding this simple technigue can reduce significant calories over time.

It takes 30 days to change your habits. Take one challenge a month by exercising every day for a month. The next month eat more fruit every day. This way you may not be overwhelmed by too much yet you could be changing your habits for a lifetime.

After lunch & supper I make sure that i put all of the leftovers away as soon as possible! I'm a nibbler & if the food is out for even a few extra minutes, then I nibble.
