whenever I can think about it when I am sitting or standing idol such as sitting at a red light or in traffic- I ensure I am in good posture (shoulders not hunched) and hold my abdominal muscles for as long as possible. I ensure I am breathing regularly and stop and start at each new red light or traffic stop. This can also work if sitting at your desk at work or talking on the phone. The abdominals (core) actually get a work out because I can feel it and it gives me a better posture.

My tip is simple but it is often overlooked- get enough sleep! Sleep problems are associated with weight problems and even diabetes risk. They make you more likely to get into a life-threatening accident. Making sleep a priority in your life will enrich it!

I believe that if you nurture good habits, you can lose weight, and maintain a good weight. Many years ago, I met a lady who I worshipped, and watched her eating habits, and tried to mimac them. It was successful as I lost 45 pounds. I only ate when I was hungry, not to feed my emotions, and it has worked ever since.

I think having good eating habits helps a lot in weight control, the main thing is what we eat and how much, I believe portion control is very important, make it a rule to never go back for 2nds, also do not overeat, when eating concentrate on what you are doing, do not be distracted or watch TV, so you will more then likely overeat.

I've found that eating in the evening is a great way to gain!! So I brush my teeth right after dinner -- and nothing more to eat before bedtime. This eliminates snacking while watching TV in the evening. And, of course eliminates unnecessary weight gain.
