My trick to a healthy weight is first of all to exercise every day and three times a week I swim for an hour with three of my friends and we always have a few laughs which I believe is good for your health and your weight. Then in the summer time I walk as often as I can and year round I work out in the exercise room. Also I believe in eating healthy and that does not include a diet, they do not work for the long term.

Yoghurt, cheese and milk may have fats in them, but they are healthy fats and shouldn't be spurned as they are good sources of calcium and milk and some yoghurt with vitamin D.

I walk EVERY day. I exercise 20 minutes daily. I eat healthy and do not diet. I have a good healthy breakfast to start my day. When I snack I make it a healthy one. I do not drink alcohol or caffeine. If I eat properly during the day, I do not get cravings I try to do fun things while exercising, like swimming. I like to think that I know my body well enough that something different would talk to me My grandchildren exercise with me and we have fun

The less you think about losing weight, the faster you will lose it! Just focus on changing or fine tuning your eating habits. Get TIPS from diets but don't necessarily follow them to a T. Switch brown for white as in rice, bread and other high carb foods, there really isn't that big of a difference! Breakfast is important too! Bring an orange or a pear, and lots of healthy snacks to work and don't always buy lunch! You can learn to appreciate a good homemade sandwich.

Since I've been working on improving my family's diet, I try to make sure I cook a healthy meal every night that incorporates lean protein, whole grains and plenty of vegetables. I look up recipes online to give me new ideas and help keep things interesting. I make a point of cooking enough so I have leftovers to pack a healthy lunch for the next day - not only does it help me save money, it keeps me well-fuelled and energized at work and keeps me away from the french fries in the cafeteria.

When I started eating breakfast regularly I found that between morning and noon i started to feel hungry. I will eat piece of fruit or yogurt, anything small, because thats all it takes to satisfy me. At noon I have a good lunch, and another snack between lunch and supper. After supper and for the rest of the night I find that I usually am no longer craving late night snacks. Once in awhile, if i do, i end up having a fruit. I also try to drink lots of water throughout the day.
