I decided I had to change the way I was eating which was more out of convienence than actually being healthy. I started buying all sorts of peppers (green, red, yellow, and some very hot peppers as well!) and started incorporating them into almost every dish I had for lunch and dinners. They are certinaly my favorite vegetable, and I feel like i'm eating healthy while satisfying my urge for other foods as well in the dishes.

Exercising 5 or 6 days a week has become part of my routine. After I have done my exercise for one day (running, weights, yoga, cycling, or walking), I plan ahead to when my next session will be. I even write it in my daytimer so I don't forget. And on days when I don't feel like exercising? I go anyway, because I know I'll feel better when I'm done. I also have a dog, so I walk her at least once a day. The rest of my family takes turns too, or we walk together so we all benefit.

Whenever I write down everything I've consumed, I'm sometimes shocked at how many high calorie bites I've needlessly put inside my body. Other days, I'm proud of myself for what I've put down on paper.
