Make sure to have healthy snacks both sweet and savory in your reach at all times and try to make them protein based where possible. At your office and at home and always have something in your purse. There will be no excuse for grabbing a chocolate bar or chips when you are running off your feet and starving. It has worked wonders for me. Ideas: hard boiled eggs, almonds, healthy granola bars, peanut butter, cheese, yogurt pro biotic drinks etc...

I pack my lunch and snacks for the next day the night before so I'm not tempted to grab something quick during the day that is not a good choice. Plus it's easier for me to be on my way in the morning!

I eat a bowl of frozen blueberries straight from the freezer. I suck them and as they melt the blueberry flavour fills my mouth. It is a great treat and blueberries are healthy for you in so many way.

Buy salad in a bag, lots of fruits, yougurt and other healthy snacks. Avoid stocking up your pantry with chips and sweets and you will definitely keep your weight on check. When my husband and I feel like eating again while watching TV, he or I will cut up some oranges and apples and snack on them while we watch and relax. It fills us up and keeps us healthy as well. Or we want something light we will have a yogurt each. It's delicious and super healthy.

I prepare fresh veggies the night before and have them all ready to snack on the next day. I cut wedges of carrots, peppers and celery and when I snack on them I dip them in a low fat salad dressing. They taste great and are a handy snack when I feel hungry.
