Treat yourself occasionally to sweets Whether it is just a cookie or two, a regular chocolate bar every week or so, etc, a small treat won't hurt you, and will in fact prevent cravings where you completely go over-board. Don't buy candy or treats in bulk -- they are too much of a distraction there in your cupboard. Instead, buy a single treat every once in a while. When it is gone, there is nothing else left in the package for you to keep on going back to.
