It's sounds pretty simple but drink lots of water. It really helps calm your cravings. I especially like to have a bottle of water on my way home just before supper.

Whenever I feel like I just have to have something sweet or a treat of some sort before giving in I boil hot water and make myself a thing of peppermint tea. For some reason or another this satisfies my cravings and eleavates my need to go off track. It has worked for the first 80lbs I have lost and hope to continue on with another 80.

When you have a craving, first drink a big glass of water. If you are still hungry, snack with very small portions at a time (in a small plate/bowl), never EVER directly from the bag/container.

If you live alone, take a day a week to cook some healthy meals and freeze them. This way you will not be tempted to eat junk food and unhealthy takeout.
